1 arrested after Moore County Sheriff’s Office finds Fentanyl in home

DUMAS, Texas (KEYU) -A Dumas woman was arrested after more than 100 fentanyl pills were found in her home.

According to the Moore County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO), information regarding the trafficking and dealing of fentanyl was discovered in Dumas.

MCSO partnered with special agents from the Texas DPS Criminal Investigation Division (CID) to obtain a search warrant for a home.

MCSO officers, CID special agents, Cactus Police Department officers serving on the Moore County Joint Emergency Response Team, and Dumas Police Department officers worked together to execute the warrant. record.

During the search, 105 fentanyl pills were found and a woman in the home was arrested for possession of narcotics.

The investigation is currently ongoing.
