The death of a four-month-old baby in a village is considered “unexplained.”

The baby was discovered in Clynderwen, Pembrokeshire, Welsh on Friday after emergency services were alerted.

Officers attended following a call from the Welsh Ambulance Service Trust regarding the welfare of a baby at around 1.45pm.

He said people living in the Clynderweven area will see “an increased police presence in the coming days”.

Residents brought flowers and toys as a tribute to the boy, and one resident said “everyone is in shock.”

The resident, who preferred to remain anonymous, said the pembrokeshire herald: ‘It’s heartbreaking. Everyone here is in shock and our thoughts are with the boy’s family. We hope the police can get to the bottom of what happened.”
