Five men were injured when a car plowed into a crowd in a ‘targeted attack’ outside a Birmingham disco this morning.

The driver continues to flee after “deliberately” driving the car towards the group gathered outside the Tunnel Club, on Livery Street, at around 3am.

One of the oldest venues in town, it hosted a rookie week party on Thursday night.

Located under the train tracks just north of Birmingham city centre, Tunnel Club is known as a popular spot for students.

Hundreds of people attended the club for a Freshers’ Week party.
