At these locations, guests have the opportunity to take photos with life-size decorations, enjoy winter cocktails, and participate in exciting activities like ax throwing.

Here are seven pop-up Christmas bars in Chicago to check out:

Frosty’s Christmas Bar

Dubbed “the ultimate Christmas experience,” Frosty’s returns for its eighth year. The three-level venue will be decorated with elaborate Christmas decorations, including life-size toy soldiers, hanging ornaments and giant candy canes. There will also be elves pole dancing and Santa Claus singing. ‘

Jack Frost at Fulton Market

Celebrate the holidays under a million lights at the Jack Frost pop-up in Fulton Market. Beyond a festive cocktail menu, you can participate in activities like ax throwing, ice skating, winter bumper cars, and photography.

Santa Claus Christmas Bar

Enjoy Christmas cocktails, snacks, brunch and five types of hot chocolate at the Santa Baby Christmas Bar.

Mistletoe in Mordecai

Sit back to good food and festive drinks like “Gingerbread Milk Punch” at Mistletoe at Mordecai, where the second-floor bar has been transformed into a festive haven.

Mariah Carey Christmas Bar

Located in Chicago’s Virgin Hotel, Mariah Carey’s Holiday Bar serves as the 30th celebration of the pop star’s holiday hit “All I Want For Christmas is You.”

Visitors can enter the world of The Queen of Christmas and find a warm and inviting atmosphere with twinkling lights and seasonal decor, according to the event website.

There are plenty of activities, from singing Carey’s hit Christmas tunes, writing a letter to the Queen of Christmas herself, and various photo opportunities.

Rudolph’s roof at London House

Enjoy panoramic views of Chicago sprinkled with the winter spirit at the Rudolph’s Rooftop of London House Chicago. Guests can book private igloos and enjoy drinks such as mulled wine or festive cocktails.

The pop-up is located on the rooftop of LH on 22 with walk-up bar service available on a first-come, first-served basis if you don’t want to reserve an igloo. Reserve a spot here.

Visit a Christmas bar full of laughter elf upa pop-up inspired by the Christmas comedy movie “Elf.”

Fans of the film can enjoy visits from Buddy the Elf and special menu items from the film, such as Buddy’s Breakfast Pasta, which includes spaghetti, maple syrup, chocolate fudge and mini marshmallows. The bar has no cover charge and free elf-shaped cookies are distributed nightly at 10 p.m.

The bar is located at 3485 N. Clark Street.
