MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – A man is dead after a shooting in northeast Shelby County Saturday night, according to the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office.
The shooting took place on US Highway 51, just south of Fite Road, at 10:00 p.m.
A man was taken to the hospital in critical condition and was later pronounced dead.
The shooter left the scene in a vehicle, according to SCSO.
There is no suspicious information at this time. This is an ongoing investigation.
