Trump campaign adviser Alex Bruesewitz, 27, collapsed on stage while speaking at the Young Republican Club gala in New York on the night of December 15.
Bruesewitz, CEO of consulting firm X Strategies, is credited with helping the president-elect engage American youth, and his efforts were reflected in the outcome of the 2024 election among young men. According to his strategy firm’s website, Bruesewitz is an unwavering supporter of President-elect Donald Trump and what he describe as “the values of the new Republican Party.”
Trump allies Steve Bannon, Nigel Farage, Dan Scavino and Corey Lewandowski were also speakers at the annual event, now in its 112th year.
In video images of speechBruesewitz was heard saying“I’m forgetting my words,” before collapsing on his podium and falling off the stage.
Fans rushed to the stage to help.
It was unclear what the medical problem was. Conservative commentator Jack Posobiec said in a Dec. 16 post on the social media platform .
“All levels are normal,” Posobiec saying of the conscious Bruesewitz who, according to Posobiec, was already making jokes.
A later update from former Justice Department official Jeffrey Clark, who said he was in contact with people accompanying Bruesewitz, said the adviser had “fainted” again while in the hospital for observation.
“I just heard about someone who was with Alex in the hospital and he passed out again while he was there. So they are testing him,” Clark said. saying. “He’s too young for all this. Please redouble your prayer efforts for Alex!
During Trump’s 2024 presidential campaign, Bruesewitz worked with the president-elect’s son, Barron Trumpto promote the former president’s approach to young people.
During the final stages of the 2024 presidential race, Trump sat down with several popular podcasters such as Joe Roganwho has millions of followers, as well as Theo Von, Lex Fridman, Adin Rossand others. Vice President-elect JD Vance also appeared on several podcasts, including Rogan’s show just days after Trump.
Many of the podcast episodes with Trump generated millions of views each, with Rogan episode obtaining 52 million visits in just over a month.
Bruesewitz is also the author of the book “Winning the Social Media War: How Conservatives Can Fight Back, Reclaim the Narrative, and Turn the Tide Against the Left.”
