Woman fires shots into apartments, endangers 12 people inside, police say

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – The Memphis Police Department arrested and charged a woman accused of shooting into occupied apartments.

On Jan. 1, officers responded to a call of shots fired at Arbors Apartments in Glen Arbors.

According to MPD, when officers arrived, they discovered that the suspect, Tisshari Richardson, had fired multiple shots into occupied apartments, endangering the lives of 12 residents.

The affidavit says Richardson also fired multiple shots at two vehicles, breaking the windows with the gun.

Upon reviewing the video footage, officers note that Richardson can be heard demanding two victims come out, yelling that he would “kill” them.

Richardson was taken into custody and now faces 11 counts of reckless endangerment, aggravated assault and vandalism of property.
